| ABOUT SCHOOL GUIDES The Los Angeles County Office of Education has developed a series of low cost Guides to provide students, parents, counselors, teachers, and related student support staff with information and resources for better transitions. Our web site will help you order our transition guides as well as provide links to web sites and materials that are being updated every day.
There are four Guides:
The Guides are designed to assist students and parents in making choices and plans for the future. The guide includes current information on:
- College Planning
- Financial Aid
- Regional Occupational Programs (ROP)
- Special Education and Special Needs resources
- Four-Year Planning Calendar
- Pertinent Career and College planning websites
The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is the nation's largest regional educational agency. Under the leadership of the County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Darline P. Robles, and the County Board of Education, LACOE is dedicated to promoting the achievement of the county's 1.7 million public school students in 80 school districts.
